Moral stories for your child’s intellectual growth

Moral stories are the stories which tell about the good and bad, which tell people about how to make difference in right and wrong through a situation and these stories are very important for the kids to grow up intellectually. These stories are generally a pure work of fiction but sometimes the stories are real stories which are narrated from the epics. It is also very important that the children know about their culture, initially in early ages of the life they will find it boring to read and understand things then why not real the moral stories and narrate it to your kids. They love listening to stories and side by side they also learn what all you want them to learn.

Learning from moral stories

These stories help the growing children to make a point of view. These moral stories talk about few situations from which one takes the moral of the story, the learning of the story. Children will find it really boring if you sit with them and tell them that this is right and this is wrong but when you try to explain them the same thing with the help of a story, they will get the moral of the story and all they will enjoy listening to the story. So your purpose is solved, your child will listen to the story happily and will side by side also learn that what is wrong and what is right. There are a lot of moral stories whose title only talk about them. Now let us take few examples of the moral stories. The stories like “importance of keeping ones word”, this tells that it is very important to do what you have said, what you have promised. You must have heard a quote which says that a “promise breaker is a shoe maker”. This is also a very nice quote. In life, there are few things which are of great importance and in order to make these things work, in order to tell the importance of all such things, you should narrate such things with an example and a moral story is the best way.

Some famous moral stories

Talk about another moral story that is “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”, this story tells that it is very important to keep yourself clean. One must clean themselves and should remain tidy always. It is very important to be clean in order to get rid of various diseases which may happen if you don’t keep yourself clean. A clean body helps in making a nice soul by making clean mind as well. The moral stories like “do not blame others” which says that for you it is very easy to blame others but if you keep on doing this you will never learn in life. The one who learns from the mistakes is the one who grows and the one who blames others all the time is the one who never learns anything and who never grows. Every moral story has something to tell and to teach.

There is one more moral story named “Think before you act”, this story says that you should always think twice before you take ay step and before you make any decision. You should keep yourself in the shoes of everyone and should make a perfect decision. Do not always think about yourself; think about all those people who will be affected by your decision or by your act. One more story named “Never take any decision in anger” is an important one which says that whenever you are in anger, you will always make a wrong decision. So be calm, think about various things and then think that what is important and which way you should act.

Now think that which way is better to explain the things, the moral stories or the general talk. The moral stories are a better idea as it will interest your child and will help you in making your purpose solved. Follow this way, narrate those stories, your kids will ask question and when they ask question means that they are able to learn better and now they know that the things you have taught are important. Now, when they will be making a decision, they will know that what is right and what is wrong.
